We’ve got six weeks left until 2011. Ben and I are finishing the year off right with this:

Some benefits of push ups:

  • Some say it’s the single most effective way to increase total body fitness
  • Abdominal muscles and biceps are affected by the push up position
  • Lower back and abdominal muscles contract
  • Quadriceps are challenged
  • Chest, triceps and the anterior deltoids are utilized and strengthened while performing a push up
  • Boosts muscle growth (and we all know that muscle burns more calories than fat)
  • Tones and lengthens muscles
  • Results in better posture

      yayayay Sanoe! Have you checked out the link yet? 6 weeks! The first week doesn’t look so bad though… and after Couch to 5K, I have confidence in these programs. If we can do that, we can do anything! =)
