Celebrating Life

Twenty-six years ago today, a star was born in Seattle, Washington.

Don’t let those looks fool you (I know, his eyes are amazing!) – Ben was as kolohe [rascal] as they come.

Throughout his childhood, Ben realized his incredible passion for sports, music, and adventure.  He also came to recognize that whatever he set his sights on, he excelled at.

His intuition led him to the University of Oregon, where our paths crossed for the first time on move-in day of freshman year, and then continued to cross as I often forgot my hall key and his dorm room was nearest to the door.  Our common interests and passion for life quickly brought us close as friends…

And the rest, as they say, is history. 🙂

Today I celebrate you, Ben. For bringing light to everyone and everything that crosses your path… for having an unparalleled love for life and for believing that everything is inherently good.

You have brought me to life with your love and allowed me to blossom into more than I ever imagined I could become.  Every day with you is an adventure and I can’t wait to see what comes to us in this next year. 🙂

Happiest 26th Birthday, my Love. I adore you.  Thank you for choosing me to share this incredible journey with you.
