The vog [volcanic fog] always puts me in a serious funk, so I apologize in advance for possibly not making any sense.
[typical view from our house / this morning’s voggy view]
Blech. Although the vog’s got me totally stuffed up and foggy-brained this morning, I did have a wonderful, low-key weekend. It’s very unusual to have a full weekend off – no volunteering [unless you count babysitting a pair of hyper-active boys], no big events… not even a trip to the beach this weekend – so we took full advantage of it!
On Saturday, I went to the farmer’s market, got lots of reading and homework done [becoming a certified personal trainer entails quite a bit of reading!]…
cooked a bit…
made a few pieces…
watched my Oregon Ducks spank the wildcats…
and watched these crazy boys:
Sunday was spent lazing in the morning, then getting down to business with grad schoolin’
visited my dad and the family for a bit, and then headed down to my mom’s for a random sushi dinner.
Of course, we didn’t miss the sunset:

I hope you’re starting your week off right! I’m off to go kick some booty.
