Bring On 2013!

Happy 2013, friends! Red heart

I’m really hoping the new site is working well for everyone and that I haven’t lost anyone along the way… If you’re having any issues, or something is funky, though, let me know, alright?

Like I said yesterday, we’re still in Seattle for a few more days visiting Ben’s family.  While it’s nice to have a bit of a change from the same-ole, I’m starting to get flashbacks from the undergrad days in Eugene [cold, wet, dreary] and am really starting to miss my daily walks and swim sessions with the little guy.  We’ll be back soon enough, though, so I’m trying by best to appreciate this experience while we’re still here.

I’m always so excited for the new year – I feel like every single day is a chance to start fresh, but January 1st just seems to signify a true new beginning.  I’m big on goal-setting, so I look forward to creating a vision for the year and then working toward manifesting everything!

This year, I’ve got some broad goals for the year and then am going to focus on more specific monthly goals so that I don’t get too overwhelmed.

Main goals for 2013:

  • Take action on my ideas
  • Live fearlessly & take risks!
  • Be kind to others as well as to myself
  • Create! Write, cook, jewelry-making, etc. to keep my connection to my Source strong
  • Be the best Mama and wife I can possibly be

This year has so much in store for our little family!  It’ll [hopefully] include my graduation from graduate school and the manifestation of my perfect work scenario, as well as my son’s first birthday [huge for local culture]!

I look forward to being able to document all of it on SimpleYetSignificant, and getting to know all of you better as the year goes on as well!

It’s a gorgeous [and FREEZING] day in the Emerald City! We’re getting bundled up to go for a little walk, then it’s time for some football!  Have a wonderous day!

Do you have any goals for 2013?
