Five Gratefuls–Feb 19

Just when I start to think Isaac’s getting into a routine, he switches things up on me. 

Last week he finally started taking naps for longer than half an hour.  It was glorious – I got in workouts, prepped meals, even got in some homework.

And then of course, this morning he decided to cry for an hour rather than take his first nap, and then alternated between being tired/grouchy/clingy, fussing in bed, and taking 20 minute naps. 

Sigh.  I should know better.  Poor guy seems to be teething up a storm.  Sad smile

Anyway, we’re still alive and thriving.  And to put everything into perspective, here are five things I’m especially grateful for in this moment:

  1. The health of my family.
  2. Seeing old friends – especially when they come all the way from Australia to see us. 
  3. The opportunity to reinvent myself and have second – and third – chances. 
  4. The chance to get a higher education degree so that I can continue to grow and learn. 
  5. My body’s ability to do everything I ask of it. 

Hoping the chiropractor can give him a little relief.  And to get more done tomorrow. Winking smile
